100g - £10.50

Scientific Name: Inonotus Obliquus

Origin: China

Chaga grows most abundantly in nearly all species of birch found in the circumpolar temperate forests of Earth’s northern hemisphere.  A mainstay of traditional Siberian shamanism, chaga has long been considered “king of the mushrooms”. [1]

Chaga mushroom grows on birch trees in colder northern climates[2]. Chaga draws nutrients from the tree on which it grows and extracts are typically derived from the inner layers of the bark. Since the sixteenth century, Chaga has been used as a folk medicine in Russia and western Siberia.
