Yoga with Manjula
Yoga invites us to hit the reset button, to let go of doing and practice the art of just BE-ing.
This ancient practice has something to offer everyone, whether it is increased flexibility and strength, improved energy, reduced stress, relaxation or a deeper spiritual understanding. Yoga is not a religion, it’s a way of life that invites us to live from our hearts, to give gratitude and to meet ourselves and others with love and compassion. Yoga takes us on a journey that, like life. takes twists and turns, goes fast and slow, brings tears and laughter. Through this journey we come home to ourselves.
Whether you are stiff or bendy, big or small, old or young, feeling happy or sad, glad or mad…..all is welcome in a yoga class! Yoga helps us to navigate the complexity of our humanness and be the witness to all that is revealing itself to us, rather than being consumed by it. Through this beautiful practice we see that each of us is perfect in our imperfection and we are enough!
I have been taught by many phenomenal teachers from around the world and has studied a variety of movement disciplines. At the heart of each of these is the idea of reconnecting to our inner and outer landscape. The practice of Yoga reminds us to honour our intuition and inner guidance and awakens us to the knowing that the true teacher is inside of us. Yoga is more than just what happens on the mat, it’s a never ending, magical mystery journey of discovery that has a positive impact on all areas of our lives.
I worked in the media industry for many years, which gave her a deep insight into the impact a hectic and unhealthy lifestyle can place on physical, mental and spiritual well-being. It was this that lead me on a journey to reconnect with myself, to relearn the art of self-love and to once again honour and respect all aspects of my being. For over a decade I have had the privilege to share my passion and have taught around the world including at the prestigious Juicy Oasis Boutique Health Retreat & Spa in Portugal and Turkey.
